It's Official: My MacBook Pro is HERE!

Picked up my MacBook Pro! It's amazing. I'll post photos soon! Right now it's time to test and beat this thing to see what it's made of. Uh, so far. It's warm! But the Display is SUPER bright and VERY crisp. I like it a lot!

UPDATE: I've got photos on my personal site. Check 'em out. I'm also having the common "Idle CPU Whine" and it's louder than I was expecting. But mostly, this machine rocks. It's super fast and the screen is amazing!

My MacBook Pro is almost HERE!

So I've been patiently waiting...sorta...and I called the Apple store MOA to see where I was in the line. They can't tell me exactly because they don't release that information, but the guy I was talking to enthusiastically said, "You're really close." Hopefully he wasn't just pumping me up and keeping me on the fishing line. I'm planning on heading up to Minneapolis possibly tomorrow or early Wednesday. I'll be sure to post photos of the unboxing...so until then enjoy the photo from Old Chicago. Me and a few of my buds worked on our World Beer Tour there with an Irish Sampler. It was a good time. Hopefully I can post photos through the email posts...we'll see.

[UPDATE] It works! Also, I've been messing with different templates. I kinda like this blue one...sorta the Apple Aqua blue if you ask me. I also put my Xbox Live Gamercard on the side there. You can keep track of my gamerscore and see what I've been playing...or what people have been playing on my Xbox 360. Chances are I didn't play those sports titles on there! :)
