Quad-core Intel desktop chips in Nov

This is some fairly major news. I've used Apple's Mac Pro, a quad-core machine, and I couldn't believe it's power. I tried to slow it down but simply couldn't! Now, I'm trying to think of that 2x!!! An 8 processor machine!! WOOO, that'd be fun.

Quad-core Intel desktop chips in Nov: "Intel will release its first quad-core desktop chips in November, according to a new report. The company had initially planned their rollout for early next year; however, Santa Clara, Calif., company will now release 'Kentsfield' quad-core desktop ch..."

Ouch!!! "Google" is the Number One Search Query on AOL

"That so many customers would use one search engine to find another is among the odd truths being mined from AOL's public release of search data. For better or worse, the data offer the first widespread public glimpse of how people search the Internet, of what they are interested in."

Okay, this isn't that big of a surprise. Also, does anyone feel sorry for AOL? They are one of the worst ISP's around in my opinion. I've had a terrible time trying to use their service. It's so wonky that THE INTERNET is hard to get to with all the silly keywords and other garbage. Granted, a lot may have changed in the past few years (I haven't tried the service in over 3 years, but when I did have to use it it was terrible.)

"The List": Screwdrivers? Yes. Toothpaste? No.

"Screwdrivers of less than seven inches in length can be brought on board U.S. passenger jets, but toothpaste cannot, according to the new list of banned items posted today by the TSA. The list has changed almost daily since last week's failed aircraft plot, with some questioning the arbitrary and constantly changing nature of the list."

This is true! I couldn't believe it, but someone posted the link to the FAA's site with "The List" of items you can and cannot bring on planes. Check it out!

Make your own Nintendo characters out of paper!

This is awesome! I've seen paper Mac's before, and those were fun to make. If you had nice paper and a color laser printer these would look great. Or simply an easy time killer if you're bored at the office!

Marilyn Manson on The O'Reily Factor !!

This is a VERY interesting video. Read some of the comments on the dig post. Lots of them are very well versed and well thought. I agree that this is one of the rare times Bill O'Riley has treated someone with a contrasting opinion with respect and understanding. Marilyn Manson is a very intelligent man and, though a little startling when you see him, a very likable guy who you have no choice but accept because he is doing what makes him happy without trying to hurt anyone or pillage people's wallets.

"Two polar vision, in a one show. Interesting!"
