NFL Bans Alcohol for Team Functions
I found this on Digg and had to share a comment from the top poster: so basically professional athletes cannot be trusted to take care of themselves and be responsible?

Review: Vista, XP Users Equally At Peril To Viruses, Exploits - Software - IT Channel News by CRN and VARBusiness
Well here's a big surprise. It turns out that Microsoft's newest and "most secure" version of Windows, Vista, is just as vulnerable. Don't throw away that virus software just yet.
"After a week of extensive testing, the CRN Test Center found that users of Windows Vista and Windows XP are equally at risk to viruses and exploits and that overall Vista brings only marginal security advantages over XP."

All Things Digital - Steve Jobs and Bill Gates Interview
This video is well worth your time. Two of the greatest minds speaking about their flaws and about the future. I particularly like Steve talking about the technology he carries with him. Bill carries a tablet. Walt asks Steve what he carries, "I assume you carry a MacBook Pro?"
Steve: Well that and an iPhone.
Kara: You have one?
Steve: I do.
Kara: Here?!
Steve: Yes.

U.S. Rejects G-8 Climate Proposal
U.S. officials have raised a second round of unusually bluntly worded objections to a proposed global-warming declaration that Germany prepared for next month's Group of Eight summit, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post. You should be upset. The deadline for cutting greenhouse gases to 50% of their levels in 1990 is 2050! The US government doesn't think that's possible...seriously guys?! What nay sayers. Check the link.

Microsoft releases Anti-Linux Propaganda [W/PICTURE]
This is mostly testing the updated blogger functionality over here at Digg.com.
A section of the Microsoft website has been devoted entirely to a section called "Get the Facts" that tries to pump BS anti-Linux propaganda using a fictional newspaper title that reads "The Highly Reliable Times". Seriously, who believes this crap?

Think Progress - STUDY: Bill O'Reilly Uses Derogatory Names More Than Once Every Seven Seconds
Think Progress - STUDY: Bill O'Reilly Uses Derogatory Names More Than Once Every Seven Seconds
This is great...According to Bill O'Reilly he doesn't "do personal attackers here" Feb. 27, 2006. Well a study from Indiana University proves the exact opposite. This guy is a jerk who regularly harasses people who are qualified to talk about their issues. Anyways, here's a snippet:
A new study by Indiana University media researchers finds that Fox News host Bill O’Reilly calls “a person or a group a derogatory name once every 6.8 seconds, on average, or nearly nine times every minute during the editorials that open his program each night.
