Which 3G network is the best?
Review: Which 3G network is the best?:
Now I'm no huge fan of AT&T's network. The coverage is so-so at best and the number of dropped calls is completely unacceptable. This is promising for a 3G iPhone though...
"In tests, AT&T's network left its competitors in the digital dust, with average download speeds of 755Kbit/sec. and average upload speeds of 484Kbit/sec. The peak download speed was 1.6Mbit/sec. It connected in just 3.0 seconds and loaded the test Web page in 0.228 seconds."

I'm going onto my 4th Xbox 360...

Guys, this is getting ridiculous. I don't know what to do. Please advise...
I recently had my 2nd Xbox 360 fail (red lights) and sent it in for repair. After 27 days I finally received my 3rd Xbox console. I hooked it up and all went well...except for the horrible grinding noise the disc drive made when stopping a disc - spindown (eject, go to dash from game, etc.) I thought, "Oh well, this ones fans all sound quieter and not broken like the last one I had so if the drive works then I won't complain."
Well, now it is a serious issue. It causes games to crash, report a scratched or damaged disc and is making my experience (a word Microsoft loves to throw around) absolutely unbearable. I can't play brand new games because the drive is now causing major issues.
I have been told that I have to send in my 3rd console to be repaired. This means that in my 2.5 years of owning an Xbox 360 (I've owned it since launch after camping 10 hours) I've had to send in 3 Xboxes and that means almost 3 months (each repair takes over 3 weeks and one day short of 4 weeks last time) of my ownership my console has been in repair.
I have been told, in very broken English, that I cannot take my console to a local store and swap it out. That the only option is to send it to the service center and wait. This is crazy!
I am an extremely dedicated Xbox fan. I waited in line for the first one, spent thousands on hardware and software. I waited for the 360 and have spent thousands on new hardware, software and services.
I don't want any money. I don't expect any gifts. I just want a console that works. I want a reliable console that isn't sent to me damaged in the box - this has already happened 2 times now!
My expectations are reasonabile, but I don't know who can help me. What number can I call? Where can I send emails? Who can help me? There has to be a representative in the United States that will take a call, speak English and help a loyal customer.

Sprint loses 1m cell subscribers
Electronista | Sprint loses 1m cell subscribers: "The carrier says its net revenue declined nine percent year-over-year to $9.3 billion and that it lost a total 1.09 million wireless customers in the most recent period. The company says the poor results were 'expected' but that it's continuing to rework its strategy, including more focused advertising, cost reductions, and larger strategic decisions."

Online Apple Store is Out of iPhones

Online Apple Store is Out of iPhones - Mac Rumors:
Here's another one from Mac Rumors, but this is true (screenshot is mine from store tonight) and it seems to hint at the inevitable. Hopefully sooner than later!
"Customers trying to order the iPhone will find that both models are 'currently unavailable.' This comes just days after UK's O2 carrier's website also reflected that the 8GB and 16GB iPhones were 'no longer available'. Some speculated O2's lack of iPhones might may have been a decision to deplete regional stock while awaiting the next generation iPhone, but it appears even Apple's U.S. supply of iPhones has dwindled down. Reports from U.S. retail stores have confirmed the same."

Latest iPhone 2.0 Firmware Has 3G On/Off Option - Mac Rumors: "Also of interest is that due to the higher 3G power consumption, Apple is giving users an option to fall back to EDGE speeds in order to prolong battery life."

Next-gen iPhone spotted in the wild?

Next-gen iPhone spotted in the wild? - Engadget
Engadget is mirroring some images of a device that look an awful lot like what the 3G iPhone is said to look like...:)
It could of course just be photoshop or a knockoff, but I really don't think so from the rumblings I've been hearing.
